To provide instructions, teaching and training in Higher Education and make provisions for research,
advancement and dissemination of knowledge.
To achieve higher levels of intellectual abilities.
To establish state of the art facilities for education and training.
To carry out teaching and research and offer Continuing Education Programmes (CEP).
To create centers of excellence for research & training.
To establish various campuses in Bihar.
To establish Examination Centers.
To grant Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates and other academic distinctions on the basis of examination, or
any such other means.
To ensure that the standards of Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates and other academic distinctions are not
lower than those laid down by AICTE, NCTE, UGC, MCI, Pharmacy Council of India and other statutory
bodies established by the Government of India for regulation of Higher Education and Technical Education.
To open Study Centers within its jurisdiction.
To set up off-campus centers within and out of the State, subject to the permission of the regulatory bodies
ordained by the Government.
To pursue any other objective as may be approved by the Government.
